Carl Richmond

Arabic and French tutor

Carl attended Boston Grammar School where he took A-levels in French, German and Spanish (ab initio to A-level in two years). He read Arabic and French at the University of Westminster, during which time he spent six months studying at the University of Alexandria in Egypt and six months at the University of Nanterre in Paris.
Since graduating, Carl has overseen the translation and proofreading of several multi-language magazines, as varied as Finnish and Hungarian, and, in addition, has been the editor of an Arabic-language travel and holiday magazine since 2004.
Carl has visited many Arab countries, and believes that being immersed in the culture of the native speakers of the language you are learning and being constantly surrounded by that language in both the spoken and written forms are the key to becoming a fluent speaker.

Foreign languages are Carl's passion, a passion which he loves to share with others.

Carl tutors all ages in and around the Boston area.
